Province Receives New Friars
Through our collaboration with Capuchin Provinces in India and Africa, the Province of St. Joseph is pleased to welcome four additional friars to minister alongside us here in the American Midwest.
During the week of August 13-19, 2023, the Capuchin Province of St. Joseph welcomed four new friars from across the globe. Friar Tinto Parathanal Joseph, OFM Cap. from the Province of Pavanatma in Kerala, India, Friar Johan Paul Gill, OFM Cap. from the Province of Krist Jyoti, India, Friar Daniel Viyakularaj, OFM Cap. from the Province of Amala Annai in Tamil Nadu, India, and Friar Tetwigs John Chrysostom Rweyemanu, OFM Cap. from the Province of Tanzania arrived at our Detroit ministries to learn about how we live and joyfully serve the people of our city.
